Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) uses the bones of the cranium (the head) and the sacrum (the base of the spine) to mobilize the membranes and fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. This gentle approach dissipates the negative effects of stress, enhancing health and resistance to disease. Because CST optimizes the central nervous, the “master computer” of the body, it can have varied and far-reaching benefits on all systems of the body. Craniosacral Therapy is especially useful for treating head injuries, chronic headaches or migraines, temporo-mandibular joint issues, sinus problems, hormonal imbalances, stress or depression. Babies also respond well to this light, hands-on technique; please see Craniosacral Therapy for Newborns for more information.

– I always look forward to the moments when Maneesha integrates Craniosacral techniques into my massage sessions. –
